With the hot weather we had for summer this year I decided to buy her a pair of summer shorts as a wedding anniversary present. Once again she was delighted and has worn them all summer. "I’ve had several pairs of Genus gardening trousers which I find excellent and the shorts are no different. A good length and lots of good size secure pockets something usually missing on ladies trousers and shorts. The 2 secateurs pockets are indispensable. Good colours available too. I’m a fan and I don’t restrict their use to gardening. Good for dog walking and other casual activities."

"Some days it's not quite warm enough to wear shorts, or you need a bit of extra leg protection: the summer-weight gardening trousers fit the bill perfectly. They have fab features: stab proof pockets, phone pocket, knee pads. They're also very comfy and have a very secure belt. Love them."

"This is my second pair of these shorts. I now have some old ones for heavy, dirty, summer jobs and some smarter ones for helping friends in their gardens - such luxury! They are very well made, with pockets all in the right places. My only issue is that the secateurs pocket seems a little too shallow, there are times when my Felcos are nearly popping out! The weather is turning now, so I’ll be back to wearing one of the three pairs of long leg Genus trousers I own, I wouldn’t be without them. They are expensive, even in the sales, but worth every penny and cheap when I think how much wear I get out of them."
