Our podcast pick - Talking Heads

This lively and informative gardening podcast - which recently celebrated 10,000 downloads - makes for comforting and informative listening while you’re doing your gardening or cooking.  Fellow head gardeners Saul Walker and Lucy Chamberlain are also good friends, which gives the podcast a relaxed feel with the odd tangential chat about weight loss and overheating when gardening.

But their wealth of horticultural knowledge is impressive and we get a real insight into the varied and interesting job of managing their respective estates, Stonelands and East Donylands, as well as gleaning masses of useful information on everything from developing a wildflower meadow to pests and diseases in the greenhouse.

They answer listeners’ questions and give tips, as well as sharing thoughts with peers in the horticultural world.  Well worth a listen.
