Garden gadgets - handcrafted scissors

If you have a gap in your garden tool bag for a special pair of scissors, consider getting your hands on some handcrafted, Teflon-coated Garden Pruners.  Small but powerful, these are handmade in Sheffield by Whiteley, drawing on over two centuries of scissor-making expertise.

They were originally created for cutting mail bag ties for the Post Office, but their potential in the garden soon became apparent, thanks to their durability and performance; they can easily snip through stems, vines and shrubs.

The scissors feature long handles that provide extra leverage and a serrated, Teflon-coated blade, which means smooth, non-stick cutting for various tasks.  These versatile pruning scissors are well suited for deadheading, wreath-making and the precision cuts needed for flower arranging.  Made of carbon steel, they can also be engraved with up to four letters, making them a practical and personal present for someone special including yourself!
